[15 Jun 2008|06:36pm] Today is Father's Day. Frankly, I think this is a joke holiday. Maybe, 50 years ago when the male counterpart in the family was the sole breadwinner, father's day might have actually had some meaning. But now, the father figure is a joke. Especially my father. Who, now has decided he wants to be BFF after abandoning me for much of my life. He also wants to write a cookbook. Whatever. But fathers do not have to pop out offspring through their jellybean sized cervix. So dads of the world, go shove it. Obviously, I have father abandonment issues. I'm surprised I'm not more of a slut. Oh wait. I am. It's just a secret. So today I had to go hike up nature trails with my father and Lucy the dog. Lucy the dog likes to try and small crabs that live under rocks at the beach. Lent Twilight to Nicole. She is thoroughly enjoying it, which makes me feel like less of a freak. I have to make a posterboard. Boo. Then I will eat dessert with Mariah when she finishes her english final paper. S'later! post comment
